Principle of the photocatalysis:

It consists of illuminating a support (substrate) coated with a thin film dioxide titanium (TiO2) with a source of ultraviolet light. This configuration causes a physio-chemical reaction that destroys most of pollutants in air (photocatalysis degrades the pollutants and CO2 transforms and H2O). Photocatalysis is a process that emits no energy and that requires no additives that residue-free process is completely environmentally friendly.
