Job Position: Webmaster (Full Time)

HSM Company is seeking an experienced Webmaster to be responsible for developing innovative, reusable Web-based tools for progressive e-Commerce based projects. The webmaster will work closely with the Server Administrator and other information technology team members to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. Programming, graphic design and database administration are all elements of this position.
 
Webmaster Responsibilities and Duties:
 
  • Design and develop new pages to the website to support marketing activities.
  • Integrate updates and new postings into existing websites.
  • Update websites with new content.
  • Ensure quality assurance programs in all content.
  • Maintain and manage websites.
  • Assist and support staff that depends on interactive content.
  • Coordinate planning, development, operation and maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain websites to deliver client needs and requirements.
  • Work with various departments and Server Administrator to build and refine graphic designs for websites.
  • Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to clients.
  • Be actively involved in and contribute regularly to the development of e-Commerce Project we use.
 
(Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change)
 
Travel & Work Schedule:
Position requires a work schedule that may include occasional overtime as needed.
 
Required Education & Experience:
  • BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
  • 1 year minimum experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS
  • 1 year minimum Web programming experience in PHP
  • 1 year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, PHP, LINUX, JAVASCRIPT
  • Experience developing and implementing open source software projects (knowledge in OpenCart is Plus advantage)
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Job Position:PHP Developer  (Full Time / Part Time)

We’re looking for a seasoned PHP Developer to join us. We need someone with solid, demonstrated Opencart development experience, who understands Opencart best practices, and who can solve real ecommerce problems. 

  • Architect, spec, and develop new Opencart modules
  • Perform code reviews of 3rd-party extensions, with an eye to quality, security, scalability, stability, and performance
  • Develop customizations to 3rd-party, open-source extensions
  • Solid, creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Is passionate about creating elegant code to solve a specific problem

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Opencart development experience, including knowledge of opencart development best practices, including extending existing functionality and creating custom modules.
  • Object-oriented PHP experience
  • Familiarity with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern, and previous experience developing web applications using this pattern or on existing MVC frameworks
  • Solid experience interacting with MySQL database systems through abstraction layer (in addition to the ability to write raw, performance-optimized queries)

  • Sound knowledge and experience of the following is required:

    • You must be an ambitious developer, who loves to hack and think logic
    • You have proven experience, preferably 1-3 years in open source technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, css3
    • You have rich experience in architecture design, analysis, coding and implementation on Opencart e-commerce platform
    • This is an immediate requirement.
